It all seems the same – another knock of Aria or something – basically a nice large Marriott or Hilton you’d find in any city that has a casino and extra restaurants. Resorts World has some of those aspects and I think Fountain Bleu is going to be more of the same (but I am a little excited to see it though after decades of starting construction).

Now this Carousel Bar thing I am excited about. Love the theming. It fits into that space and the downtown ambiance perfectly. Drinks, while expensive (what bar is cheap – anywhere) are significantly less than many strip places. I hope Plaza does a good job maintaining it and that it succeeds. Best of luck to them. Las Vegas needs something exiting. Although this isn’t as big as a new resort opening it is something I’m looking forward to seeing the next time I’m in Vegas (which will likely be when Fountainbleu opens).

Thanks for all the great content and updates Scott! Appreciate it!

Can’t get excited about the new outdoor bar, with its great views of traffic on Main Street and the back of the Fremont Street Experience stage, but plenty of people will get excited about the “lounge.” That’s what matters

That’s why I wouldn’t tell anybody. But I’ve been thinking about it. All this time I’m trying not to be me. I’m afraid to face who I was. But I’m Cosmo, Jerry, I’m Cosmo Kramer, and that’s who I’m going to be. From now on, I’m Cosmo!

One thing people don’t think about is the person in the room before you may have been using drugs snorting off every counter hiding needles dropping pills smoking meth or even cooking meth. I’ve seen people at security because there kid got drugs on or in them off the floor or surfaces. Vegas is not for kids casinos are greedy your kids are in more danger than you even know .

Agreed about the others though.

What a mess this will be, it is heartbreaking. It is already a mess when the Raiders are there. We come every year for 10 days for the Rodeo, that will be put on the back burner plus the rooms will be so expensive that we will have to stay home or stay downtown. So Sad. Plus with all the money they make it is sad the taxpayers have to pay the bill.

Why is there no vote on spending this ludicrous amount of tax money? More so, why would you put a baseball stadium on the corner of Trop and LV blvd?…..can you imagine the nightmare vehicle and foot traffic that will cause pre and post game. you may as well shut that entire intersection down permanently… Seriously, who are making these government and corporate decisions with total disregard for the taxpayer and NV residents….umm F1…ummm Sphere…just beating the hell out of us taxpayers……

Too bad the highest “OFFICIAL” recorded temperature in Vegas was 118 degrees, or 47.8 degrees Celsius. This happened in July of 1931.
